Question 8
Work in pairs. Carefully spread very soft icing in a thick layer on a large round plate. Place crackers on the icing to investigate how tectonic plates move at different plate boundaries. Never eat or drink anything in a science laboratory. Make a model to represent a convergent boundary. Place the last two crackers carefully on the icing. Make sure they gently touch each other. Move the crackers towards each other slowly and carefully until one either pushes the other up or slides under the other, or they both crack into raised fragments. Draw a diagram to represent a convergent boundary.
