Question 81

Many scientists think there was once one large continent, Pangaea, between 335 and 175 million years ago. Around 175 million years ago it started to break apart. You will need an atlas or A4 printed world map, tracing paper, pencil, A4 card and scissors. Trace an outline map onto the card. Carefully cut out the continents, not the oceans. Fit the continents together to see what Pangaea might have looked like.
