Work in groups of three or four. Use an internet search engine to find out more about the collision theory of the formation of the Moon, also called the giant impact hypothesis. Try to find websites other than general encyclopaedia sites, information you understand, supporting and contradicting evidence, and other theories of the Moon’s origin. Produce a report in your own words, in any form. Include the website for each piece of information, which websites were most reliable, whether any were biased, why secondary sources were needed rather than first-hand experience, and which theory you think is correct and why.
