a. Counting to 20
b. Drawing a simple stick man
c. Standing on one foot for as long as possible
d. Saying a nursery rhyme
e. Walking slowly round the room

The person who has the timer will set the stopwatch to zero and then time how long it takes for the other to do the chosen task. Remember to say 'GO!' as you start the timer and to stop it as soon as your partner finishes the task.

Make a note of how long that task took, then swap over and repeat the same task.

You could then each try another task and write down the times taken.

Now you're going to estimate how long you think the following tasks will take before you time yourselves:

a. Saying the alphabet
b. Counting to 100
c. Writing the numbers 1 to 10 clearly

Write down the estimate and then see how close you are when you are timed.
