Imagine you have two circuits. Both circuits contain an electrical cell, a switch and a lamp. One circuit uses short conducting wires to connect the components. The other circuit has very long conducting wires. If you close the switches in both circuits at exactly the same time, do you think there will be a difference in the time taken by the lamps to light up? Work in pairs and discuss your answers.
